The Finished Look

September 2026 Reference

Owner's Goal & Pricing

Change the finish. Keep the contrast.

The owner wanted the factory Eiger Grey gloss paint visually changed to satin while keeping the factory gloss-black accents glossy. At approximately 99 miles, the Range Rover was protected early in ownership.

The front windows were intended to more closely match the darker factory rear privacy glass. A subtle darker windshield appearance was also selected for additional privacy.

Wrapped Edges & Minimal Disassembly

Edges
All safely accessible edges were wrapped wherever practical to minimize visible film lines.

Project Questions

Can XPEL STEALTH turn a gloss Range Rover into a satin finish?

Yes. On this project, XPEL STEALTH changed the appearance of the factory Eiger Grey gloss-painted body panels to a satin finish. The factory gloss-black accents stayed glossy, creating a satin Eiger Grey body with contrasting factory gloss-black details.

Which parts of this Range Rover were protected with XPEL STEALTH?

All exterior Eiger Grey painted body panels and the body-color door handles received XPEL STEALTH. Full-body coverage here means exterior painted body panels. Door jambs and hidden painted areas were not included. This vehicle has no body-color painted roof area; neither the gloss-black roof nor the panoramic glass roof received PPF.

Which gloss-black areas were protected with XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS?

XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS was installed on the gloss-black mirror sections, A-pillars and B-pillars, as well as the headlights. Other factory gloss-black exterior trim stayed in its original gloss finish without additional PPF. The gloss-black roof and taillights were not protected with PPF.

How much did this Range Rover full-body XPEL STEALTH project cost?

The September 2026 reference was approximately $5,999 for the PPF work and approximately $600 for XPEL PRIME XR Plus tint when bundled with this PPF project, for a combined reference of approximately $6,599. This is a project-specific reference; final pricing can vary with the vehicle, preparation and selected coverage. Ceramic coating was not included.

How long does full-body XPEL STEALTH installation take on a Range Rover LWB?

The installation-time reference for this 2026 Range Rover LWB P400 SE is 3–5 business days. Vehicle condition, selected coverage and installation requirements can affect scheduling.

Were the hood and front bumper installed using bulk film or pre-cut patterns?

Both the hood and front bumper were bulk installations. Safely accessible edges were wrapped wherever practical. Only the emblems were removed; parking sensors, washer nozzles and the tow-hook cover stayed in place. Film was trimmed closely around the bumper openings to minimize visible gaps while preserving fit and function.

What window tint was installed, and are 20% front-side windows and a 55% windshield legal in California?

XPEL PRIME XR Plus was installed on the two front side windows at 20% and on the windshield at 55%. The factory rear side and rear privacy glass remained unchanged without additional film. These front-side-window and full-windshield shades do not comply with California's standard on-road tint restrictions. They were selected by the owner after being informed of the applicable restrictions; Toyz Detail Studio does not represent them as California-legal.
