Owner’s Goal

From Veyron to Mistral

This collector specified his new W16 Mistral to continue the visual language of his own Bugatti Veyron. The same overall color scheme carries into Atlantic Blue and Blue Carbon, while the wheel design references the Veyron’s style.

With only 23 miles at service, the aim was to protect that personal specification. Clear protection retains the blue paint, visible carbon weave and chosen design details.

Bugatti built 99 W16 Mistral examples to close the roadgoing W16 era. This project’s collector story is the continuity between his two Bugattis.

Preserve the Specification

STEK DYNOshield is the clear/gloss paint protection film used on this Mistral. Its physical, sacrificial layer protects the visible exterior while keeping the underlying finish in view.

All Atlantic Blue exterior painted surfaces.

A clear/gloss finish that preserves the existing paint-and-carbon contrast.

The standard Toyz XPEL ceramic system complements the film with hydrophobic behavior and easier cleaning. Ceramic coating provides a surface treatment; the PPF remains the physical protection layer.

Under Armor at the Front Splitter Underside

A Sacrificial Layer at the Low Front Edge

Toyz added its in-house Under Armor anti-scrape solution to the front lower lip / splitter underside. This is the low front area exposed to driveway and road-transition scrape risk.

The protected area is the splitter underside only. This project does not document full-underbody or chassis protection.

The Collector’s Interior Specification

The Hermès-customized interior is part of the Mistral’s vehicle specification. The cockpit and the Hermès Paris signature beside the gear selector add context to the collector’s personalization; Toyz did not perform an interior service on this project.

Glass: XPEL publishes a 2-year limited product warranty for FUSION PLUS Glass.
Wheel & Caliper: XPEL publishes a 3-year limited product warranty for FUSION PLUS Wheel & Caliper.

These are published product terms, subject to manufacturer conditions and applicable installation records, including required annual inspections by an XPEL certified installer. The Paint & PPF terms name XPEL film; eligibility over this project’s STEK film has not been confirmed.

Use gentle washing methods and products compatible with the installed film and coatings. Avoid directing high-pressure water closely at film edges.

Follow the installation-specific care instructions supplied at delivery. Contact Toyz for an inspection if you notice a concern with the film, coating or underside protection.

We stand behind our installation work. If an issue is caused by our workmanship, Toyz Detail Studio will take responsibility and correct it.

W16 Mistral Project Questions

What PPF was installed on this W16 Mistral?

STEK DYNOshield clear/gloss PPF was installed across the full visible exterior, including both Atlantic Blue painted surfaces and exposed Blue Carbon.

Did Toyz protect only the painted body?

No. The documented protection scope includes all exterior painted surfaces and all exposed Blue Carbon exterior surfaces. It does not represent door-jamb or hidden-area coverage.

Why use clear PPF on this collector-spec Mistral?

The goal was to preserve the existing specification. Clear/gloss film keeps the Atlantic Blue paint and Blue Carbon visible while adding a sacrificial physical layer.

How does this Mistral connect to the owner’s Veyron?

The collector intentionally specified the same overall color scheme and a wheel design that references his own Veyron. The design continues that car’s visual language; the physical Veyron wheels were not transferred to the Mistral.

Was the Hermès interior a Toyz service?

No. The Hermès-customized interior is part of the vehicle’s personal specification. Toyz’s documented work on this project was exterior protection.
