The Purple Model X, From Front to Side
Project Focus
The Model X’s long doors and rear quarter give the color-shifting finish broad surfaces to play across. The side profile shows lavender tones, while the curved front panels carry cooler blue highlights.
Front and rear three-quarter views bring several panel angles into one frame. The closer mirror, fender and hood photographs show how light changes the finish around the vehicle’s curves.
Lavender and Blue Around the Front Fender
Color-Shifting Purple Vinyl Wrap
Color-shifting purple vinyl supplies this Model X’s exterior restyling finish. The close front view follows the color across the hood, headlamp area and curved bumper.
The finish’s appearance depends on light and surface angle. Looking at wide views and close details together gives a fuller view of the lavender and blue highlights across the body.

Project Questions
What vinyl finish is featured on this Tesla Model X?
The project features color-shifting purple vinyl wrap on the Model X exterior.
Why do the purple panels show blue highlights in some views?
Lighting and viewing angle change the appearance of a color-shifting finish. The photographs show lavender tones and cooler blue highlights across the Model X’s body.
Which views show the finish across the Model X’s larger panels?
The full side profile shows the long doors and rear quarter. Front and rear three-quarter photographs show several panel angles together, with mirror and fender details available in the 31-photo gallery.
Is color-shifting purple vinyl the same material as PPF?
No. Vinyl is primarily a restyling film and does not provide the same stone-chip impact protection as paint protection film.
