The Finished Quicksilver Model Y
Finish Matching, Not Finish Flattening
Three Surfaces. Three Treatments.
The painted body was taken satin, the factory gloss-black trim retained its gloss, and the factory matte carbon spoiler stayed matte. The film changes with the surface so the original contrasts remain visible.
The three Toyz services work together: finish-matched exterior PPF, comprehensive XR Plus glass treatment, and a Sky Blue accent on all four calipers. The factory body color remains Quicksilver.

Quicksilver Paint → XPEL STEALTH
Factory Color, Satin Surface
XPEL STEALTH was installed on all exterior painted body panels. The film changes the surface appearance from gloss to a softer satin presentation while the metallic Quicksilver color underneath remains the factory paint.
PPF adds a physical protective layer. Its finish is selected separately from its coverage, which is why this body treatment does not turn every exterior material matte.

Gloss Black Stays Gloss
Preserve the Factory Gloss Contrast
The exterior gloss-black pieces received clear / gloss PPF. They remain reflective against the softer satin body rather than taking on the body film’s matte finish.
The headlights were also protected with clear / gloss PPF. The taillights were not covered.
“Full Body” describes this project’s protected exterior surfaces. It does not extend the scope into door jambs or hidden painted areas.
Matte Carbon Stays Matte
A Different Surface, the Same Material Character
The factory carbon-fiber rear spoiler already has a matte finish. Toyz protected it with matte XPEL STEALTH PPF to preserve that appearance.
The body changes from gloss to satin; the spoiler stays matte. Using the same film on these two surfaces serves a different finish goal on each.
A Small Color Change That Changes the Character of the Car
All four brake calipers were repainted Sky Blue. Against the neutral metallic body, dark Performance wheels and black exterior details, the blue becomes the strongest color accent in the completed design.
It is a small area of color with a large visual effect: the accent appears through the wheel openings without changing the factory body color.

PPF Care
Follow the delivery instructions for washing and film care. Use gentle, non-abrasive cleaning methods and avoid directing high-pressure water at film edges.
Window Tint Aftercare
Do not roll newly tinted movable windows down on installation day. Normal operation can resume the following day. Follow any additional installation-specific care instructions provided at delivery.

What factory color is this Model Y Performance?
The factory color is Quicksilver. XPEL STEALTH was installed over the painted body, so the underlying factory color remains Quicksilver.
Does STEALTH change the appearance of Quicksilver?
Yes. STEALTH changes the surface appearance from gloss to satin while retaining the underlying metallic Quicksilver paint color. The result is a softer surface presentation rather than a new body color.
Were the gloss-black trim pieces made matte too?
No. The exterior gloss-black pieces received clear / gloss PPF so they retain their factory gloss contrast against the satin painted body.
What happened to the carbon-fiber rear spoiler?
The factory carbon-fiber rear spoiler has a matte finish. Toyz used matte XPEL STEALTH PPF to preserve that original material character.
Were the headlights protected?
Yes. The headlights received clear / gloss PPF. The taillights were not covered, and the exterior PPF scope does not include door jambs or hidden painted areas.
What XR Plus tint configuration was installed?
XPEL PRIME XR Plus was installed at 70% on the windshield, front side windows, rear side windows and rear hatch glass, with 20% on the panoramic glass roof.
