Built by an M Enthusiast, Protected by Toyz
The owner is a BMW M enthusiast with multiple M vehicles. This 2025 M3 arrived after a fresh upgrade with a complete set of genuine BMW M Performance exterior carbon-fiber components.
The upgrade was already installed before the car came to Toyz. Our role was to protect every exterior M Performance carbon piece with XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS, keeping the newly installed gloss carbon visible beneath a clear protective layer.
Protect the Upgrade Before the Wear Starts
New carbon components are a substantial investment and a prominent part of this M3's appearance. Protecting them shortly after installation gives the finish a sacrificial layer before normal road use starts leaving its marks.
Clear PPF helps reduce exposure to stone chips and surface abrasion while retaining the gloss-carbon look. The film can still be damaged by impacts and wear; it does not make the parts damage-proof. This project focused on the complete exterior M Performance carbon kit and was completed in two days.

XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS for M Performance Carbon
For this project, Toyz installed clear, gloss XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS over all exterior genuine BMW M Performance carbon-fiber pieces. Its clear protective layer lets the carbon weave remain part of the car's design.
ULTIMATE PLUS is designed to help protect automotive surfaces from stone chips and abrasion. Its self-healing topcoat can reduce light surface scratches in the film over time. Protection and self-healing have limits; deeper damage and substantial impacts can require film replacement.

Front carbon splitter and lower front aero
The exposed carbon pieces beneath the front bumper form the leading edge of the kit.

Isle of Man Green Metallic gives the G80 a vivid exterior, while Kyalami Orange and Black Extended Merino Leather brings a warm contrast inside. The exposed carbon supplies a dark visual anchor around the car.
These are the vehicle's factory specification and the owner's carbon upgrades. Toyz's contribution was the clear protection over the exterior M Performance carbon, preserving its visible gloss finish without adding a new color or texture.
Bronze/gold-toned wheels and gold/yellow brake calipers add a warm accent against the green body and dark carbon. These are vehicle configuration details, rather than services performed by Toyz for this project.

XPEL Manufacturer Warranty
XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS carries a 10-year limited manufacturer warranty from the initial installation date against qualifying manufacturing defects, including yellowing, cracking, blistering and delamination. Coverage requires professional installation in accordance with XPEL guidance and remains subject to XPEL's terms and exclusions.
Toyz Workmanship Support
We stand behind our installation work. If an issue is caused by our workmanship, Toyz Detail Studio will take responsibility and correct it.
Care for the Protected Carbon
Follow the film's care instructions: wait at least 48 hours after installation before washing, remove insect residue and other stains promptly, and keep high-pressure water away from film edges. Contact Toyz if a protected component or film edge needs attention.
