The Finished Turbo S
Project Focus & Pricing
Inspect. Retain. Complete.
The nearly new Turbo S arrived with a dealer-installed XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS Track Package. The front film was installed well, so Toyz retained it and made minor edge and corner corrections instead of replacing good protection.
The existing package also included rocker and lower-door protection and partial rear-quarter film. Toyz removed the partial quarter film, reworked the rocker and lower-door areas, and completed the remaining exterior in ULTIMATE PLUS Gloss.
The finished coverage combines retained dealer front PPF with Toyz’s new remaining-body installation across all exterior painted body panels, gloss-black pieces and carbon-fiber pieces.
Current Reference Pricing
- Rear Half / Remaining Body
XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS PPF - $4,799

- Rocker and lower-door PPF reworked / replaced
- All remaining exterior painted body panels protected
- All exterior gloss-black and carbon-fiber pieces protected
- Carbon-fiber diffuser included

Exterior Coverage, With Clear Boundaries
All exterior painted body panels were protected after completion, using both retained and newly installed film. The final scope also includes all exterior gloss-black and carbon-fiber pieces.
This exterior scope does not include door jambs, hidden or interior painted areas. Taillights were not covered. The original front installation remains dealer work.

XPEL PRIME XR Plus was selected for cabin heat management, glare reduction and privacy. These percentages describe film shades, rather than independently measured combined glass-and-film light transmission.
California Tint Disclosure
California restricts tint on windshields and front side windows. The shades listed here document this project’s installation and do not establish compliance with California requirements.
XPEL FUSION PLUS
PPF, Windshield & Wheel Faces
- All PPF surfaces
- XPEL FUSION PLUS Paint & PPF — retained dealer front film and Toyz-installed film
- Windshield only
- XPEL FUSION PLUS Glass
- Wheel faces only
- XPEL FUSION PLUS Wheel & Caliper
The ceramic system adds hydrophobic behavior, easier maintenance and environmental surface protection across the stated surfaces. It complements the physical film layer; ceramic does not replace PPF’s impact protection.
The Glass product was used on the windshield only. The Wheel & Caliper product was used on the wheel faces only; the wheel barrels and brake calipers were not coated.
Ceramic Across Both PPF Installations
Paint & PPF coating was applied to the retained dealer front film and Toyz’s newly installed film. The original Jet Black Metallic finish remains visible beneath the clear gloss PPF.
Ceramic supports easier care, but does not make the car maintenance-free or protect it from every scratch or stone impact.
Integrating Existing & New Protection
Retain What Was Installed Well
- Dealer front PPF
- Inspected, retained and given minor edge / corner corrections
- Rear-quarter film
- Partial coverage removed and replaced with complete rear-quarter protection
- Rocker / lower-door areas
- PPF reworked / replaced to integrate with the remaining exterior coverage
The installation decision was to preserve good front film and complete the areas that needed attention. Toyz’s remaining-body work integrated with the original package without taking credit for the dealer’s front installation.

Do not roll freshly tinted movable windows down on installation day. Normal operation may resume the following day. Follow any additional installation-specific care instructions provided at delivery.
Window-film cleaning is separate from the next-day roll-down guidance. Follow the film-cleaning instructions provided at delivery.
Project Questions
Did Toyz replace the dealer-installed front PPF?
No. This Turbo S arrived with a dealer-installed XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS Track Package. The front film was installed well, so Toyz retained it and made minor edge and corner corrections. The work then focused on integrating the existing protection with the remaining exterior coverage.
What did Rear Half mean on this Turbo S?
Rear Half described Toyz's remaining-body PPF completion around the retained dealer front package. Toyz removed the partial rear-quarter film, reworked the rocker and lower-door protection, and completed the remaining exterior with XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS Gloss.
Did the finished Turbo S have PPF on all exterior painted body panels?
Yes. The finished exterior painted-panel protection combined the retained dealer-installed front XPEL PPF with Toyz's new remaining-body coverage. Toyz did not install the original dealer front package.
Were the gloss-black and carbon-fiber pieces protected?
Yes. Toyz protected all exterior gloss-black pieces and exterior carbon-fiber pieces, including the carbon-fiber diffuser. This coverage refers to exterior surfaces.
Which XR Plus tint percentages were used?
XPEL PRIME XR Plus was installed at 55% on the windshield, 35% on the front side windows, 20% on the rear side glass and 35% on the rear/trunk glass. California restricts windshield and front-side window tint; these installed shades do not establish compliance with California requirements.
Where was the ceramic coating applied?
XPEL FUSION PLUS Paint & PPF was applied across the protected vehicle, including both the retained dealer front film and Toyz-installed PPF. FUSION PLUS Glass was applied to the windshield only, and FUSION PLUS Wheel & Caliper was applied to the wheel faces only.
Does ceramic coating replace PPF?
No. PPF provides a physical layer of protection against stone chips and abrasion. Ceramic coating adds hydrophobic behavior, easier maintenance and environmental surface protection. The two products serve different roles on this Turbo S.
What is the current reference pricing for a comparable setup?
Current reference pricing is $4,799 for rear-half / remaining-body XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS PPF, $999 for the XPEL PRIME XR Plus tint package and $599 for the ceramic coating package. These are current comparable-scope references, not the historical invoice amounts. Final pricing can vary with vehicle condition and requested coverage.
